Registration for the 8th Annual Bill Cross 5K Walk/Run for BackSnacks is open!!
Join us for our signature fundraiser. Zona Rosa will once again host our 5K on a beautiful Sunday morning, October 21st. A yoga warm up awaits you at 7:30 am and be ready to walk/run the course at 8 am. Register using this link. Invite your friends, family and co-workers to join you OR to sponsor your efforts. Together we can raise funds to support our efforts to feed our kids, here in the Northland.
If your company or group is interested in sponsoring our event, please contact Chris at [email protected] OR 816-301-GIVE. At the $1,000 level your provided logo will have a “live link” and at the $2,000 level your logo will be printed our newly designed performance shirts.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of nonprofits and we’re so grateful for ours! Meet Jarrad, who used his sabbatical from Cerner to help with a few projects. His connection to our mission comes via his son, who as a middle schooler, used his own lunch account to provide a meal several times to a friend in need. His son’s generosity led Jarrad to notice our mission and play his own role in helping to feed kids.
Advocates in Action:
Hilary Schmitt and Nan Johnston hosted a fantastic and welcoming home event in downtown Parkville. Many Northland friends attended.
Piper and Jim Sparks beautiful home and amazing outdoor area. Perfect for friends and neighbors to hear about our mission. Such generous hearts in our hosts and guests.
