February Northland Night at Harvesters packs a record amount of BackSnacks!

Congratulations to the 50 individuals from several civic and work groups who gathered for our monthly Northland Night at Harvesters to pack BackSnacks. 2,580 northland children receive a BackSnack each Friday and our coordinated efforts once a month help ensure delivery to those 59 elementary schools who participate. A record 2,025 BackSnacks were packed in just under two hours, nearly 200 more than the average packing effort! Thanks for the wonderful and enthusiastic help. Two and a Half Tenors and the KC Chorale

Congratulations to our supporter, Bryan Taylor, one of the three Two and a Half Tenors, and a member of the Kansas City Chorale, for the recent nomination and win at The annual Grammy Awards!! The Chorale has received an ASCAP Award for adventurous programming in addition to receiving multiple GRAMMY nominations and several wins, most recently in 2012 for “Best Choral Performance” for Life and Breath: Choral Works by René Clausen.
