4th annual Know Norm Run  

The KC Weasels once again came together to raise funds for our mission. The threat of rain didn’t deter hundreds of members from gathering and reuniting for a great cause! A beautiful June morning allowed for a great ride on a clean course, to three participating places. You see the cool bikes and groups of people. We see their huge hearts and creative ways to do what they love and feed local kids. The $5,225 raised, will help us do that in many ways! Thank you so very much!!

A consistent partner to many nonprofits in the KC Metro, we are so pleased to benefit from this year’s Brew Bash at Chicken n Pickle. Not surprisingly, this awesome group was the recipient of the 2022 “Mr. K” award. Dave Johnson has built an amazing and expanding business model. At it’s core, is being a part of the community. What an awesome example.

Universally Free School Lunches Are Ending June 30

                                       

Higher food and fuel prices are squeezing many family budgets. The end of funding for this pandemic-inspired expansion of free/reduced lunch is happening soon.
