Santa doesn’t live only at the North Pole……
What do nearly 500 women, 50 decorated tables and a Ladies Christmas Tea have to do with Santa? Quite a bit, when you combine a charitable aspect to the event!
These lovely ladies bring Christmas to their families each year and this event is designed as an outreach ministry at Platte Woods UMC. Scheduled early in the month, it gives them a brief respite and time to appreciate the meaning of the season before launching into the many preparations.
Feed Northland Kids has been very fortunate the past several years, to be the beneficiary of funds donated. Additionally, we’re given an opportunity to be part of the program, informing attendees of our needs and progress. Enjoy these few pics and view our facebook page for more………
Compassion expressed in a cuddly and creative way
Twelve-year old Campbell Remess, wanted to buy toys for hospitalized kids, but as part of a large family with limited funds, his mother had to deny his request. He found another way – watch his inspiring story. We ALL can truly make a difference for others…….
