Shred day event becomes a sort day activity
Our good friends at Bank of Weston held their annual Shred day and paired it with a food drive. Many clients and neighbors dropped by all three locations with documents to securely shred and food donations to help stock our in-school pantries.
So, what do you do when you pick up 1,125 lbs. of assorted food? You call in another group of friends to spend several hours sorting!
The Parkville Art & Literature Club assembled an excellent group to sort, date and stock our storage area. They made efficient and short work of the task.
Rising food prices are creating concern for many. Here are some tips on ways to save

“Blessed Are Those Who Plant Trees
Under Whose Shade They Will Never Sit”
Today is National Arbor Day. This saying seems an apt description for the impact your donations have for our hungry kids. Someone else will benefit from the gift you give. What a great legacy!
