Feed Northland Kids is grateful to be one of two recipients of the 2023 Gladstone Mayor's Christmas Tree. Gladstone businesses and residents come together each holiday season to raise money for non-profit agencies in the community that support their citizens. Feed Northland Kids supplies food security programs to numerous students in Gladstone via the North Kansas City School District elementary, middle, and high schools in the area. Mayor Jean Moore is the current Board President for Feed Northland Kids. She and her Gladstone City Council peers worked diligently to raise nearly $30,000 for this year's Mayor's Christmas Tree awards. Gwen O'Brien, Feed Northland Kids Executive Director, was on hand to receive the award at the January City Council Meeting.
