Who We Are

Feed Northland Kids began in 2009, an evolution from the Northland Childhood Hunger Initiative and adopted by the Northland Community Foundation to combat childhood hunger in Clay and Platte Counties.

We exist to serve the 3,200 children in the Northland who are “food insecure,” which means that the financial pressures in their home make nutritional food unavailable. School programs assist before and during school. But weekends are the challenge. These children need nutritious food every weekend!

Feed Northland Kids is humbled by the wealth of both Clay and Platte Counties, and we’re dedicated to ensuring that our children do not go hungry. Join us in building partnerships throughout the Northland.
